They develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative services, contributing to organisational efficiency. The role involves working independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills. Business Administrators are expected to manage priorities, time, and contribute to continuous improvement across the organisation.

A. The EPA (End Point Assessment) includes the following components:
Knowledge Test – a multiple-choice assessment of core business administration knowledge
Portfolio-Based Interview – a structured discussion based on the apprentice’s compiled portfolio
Project Presentation – a presentation on a completed business project or process improvement
All elements must be passed to achieve the apprenticeship.

Achieve Level 2 English and Maths (if not already held) before the EPA
Compile a Portfolio of Learning throughout the apprenticeship
Complete a project or process improvement task prior to the EPA
Employers may also set their own additional entry criteria.

Funding Band: £5,000
Government funding may be available to cover training and assessment costs, especially for eligible employers and apprentices.
Non-levy employers may be required to contribute 5% (£250), depending on eligibility.
